Atlanta's Black radio, united for the vote
Black Radio United For The Vote began in 2020, when Atlanta's Black radio stations came together for the first time to make sure their listeners were heard at the ballot box.
The stations named on this site are KISS 104.1, V103, 1380 News & Talk WAOK, Majic 107.5/97.5, Hot 107.9, Praise 102.5, Classix 102.9, Streetz 94.5, Jazz 91.9 WCLK, Smooth Jazz 101.1 and 104.5 FM.
Election dates, registration checks, early voting hours, absentee ballot steps and the ID rules for voting in person all sit together in our Georgia voter information, along with help getting a ride to the polls.
Before you vote
The dates on this site are for the November 3, 2026 General Election and the December 1 runoff. Deadlines and rules change from one election to the next, so check the current details with the Georgia Secretary of State or your county elections office before you head out.
These stations come from a long line that starts with WERD on Auburn Avenue in 1949 and runs through WAOK and the civil rights movement, the story told in Atlanta's Black radio history.
